Terms of service

These terms explain how you buy from us, what you can expect from us, and what we're each responsible for. We've written them in plain English on purpose — if anything here isn't clear, ask us before you order.

Who we are

Kuvr.co is a trading name of Janus Ridgeway Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11650388). Our registered address is Primrose Business Park, Whites Lane, Blackwell, Derbyshire, DE55 5GX, United Kingdom. Where these terms say "we", "us" or "Kuvr", they mean Janus Ridgeway Ltd. "You" means the person buying from or using our website.

These terms apply to everything we sell through kuvr.co and to your use of the site. By placing an order, you agree to them.

What we sell

Most Kuvr products are custom covers, screens and tarpaulins, made to your measurements. Some products are sold in standard sizes. Which one you're buying is made clear on the product page, and it matters for your cancellation rights (see below).

Your order and our contract

When you place an order, you're making us an offer to buy. Our contract with you begins when we email to confirm we've accepted your order — not before. Up to that point we may decline an order, and we'll tell you why where we can.

For custom covers, we design before we make. You'll receive a scaled diagram to approve, and nothing goes to manufacture until you've signed it off. That approval is part of your order.

Price and payment

Prices are shown on the product page and include UK VAT. Delivery charges are shown separately before you pay.

If a price is wrong by an obvious mistake, we don't have to honour it — we'll tell you before we take payment and you can decide whether to go ahead at the correct price. Payment is taken through our payment providers; we don't see or store your full card details.

Delivery

We deliver to the address you give us. Standard lead times are shown on the product page and at checkout. We'll email you when your order is on its way.

If we can't deliver within the estimated time, we'll contact you to agree a new date. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, but if delivery is going to be significantly delayed we'll always keep you informed.

Changing your mind

Custom-made products. Because your cover is made to your measurements, the standard 14-day right to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply to custom-made items — this is the exemption for goods made to your specification. You approve the design before we make it, which is where any changes should happen.

Standard-size products. If you buy a standard-size product (not made to order), you have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving it. It must come back to us unused and in its original condition. See our Returns & Refunds policy for how.

If something's wrong

You have legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015: what we sell you must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.

If your cover arrives faulty or damaged, or a fault appears later, contact us through help.kuvr.co with your order number and photos. If the problem is our responsibility — faulty seams, material defects, transit damage, or a cover made incorrectly against your approved diagram — we'll put it right by repairing, remaking or refunding, in line with your legal rights and our Returns & Refunds policy.

Fit is handled separately under our First-Time Fit Guarantee.

Warranty

Every cover comes with a warranty covering fabric degradation, seam failure and manufacturing defects for a period that depends on the fabric. Full detail — including our optional KuvrPlus extension — is in our Warranty Terms & Conditions. The warranty is in addition to your legal rights, not instead of them.

Our responsibility to you

We don't limit or exclude our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — this includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and for anything else that can't be limited under UK law.

Subject to that, we're not liable for losses that weren't reasonably foreseeable, or for business losses (we sell to consumers; if you buy for a business, we're not liable for loss of profit, business or goodwill). If we're found liable to you, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned.

Your account and the website

If you create an account, keep your login details secure and let us know if you think someone else has used them. Don't misuse the website — for example by trying to damage it, copy it, or scrape our content, prices or descriptions. The Kuvr name, logo, images and website content are ours; please don't reuse them without our written permission.

Your privacy

We handle your data in line with UK GDPR. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why.

Complaints

If you're unhappy, tell us first — get in touch through our contact form and we'll work to sort it out. We're not currently a member of an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme, so if we can't resolve it between us, you're free to take your claim to the relevant court.

General

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones published when you order. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.

We're not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
