Terms of service

These terms explain how you buy from us, what you can expect from us, and what we're each responsible for. We've written them in plain English on purpose — if anything here isn't clear, ask us before you order.

Who we are

Kuvr is operated in the United States by Kuvr LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, with a principal office at 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801. Where these terms say "we", "us" or "Kuvr", they mean Kuvr LLC. "You" means the person buying from or using our website.

These terms apply to everything we sell to US customers through kuvr.co and to your use of the site. By placing an order, you agree to them. You must be at least 18 to order.

What we sell

Most Kuvr products are custom covers, screens and tarpaulins, made to your exact measurements. Some products are sold in standard sizes. Which one you're buying is made clear on the product page, and it matters for returns (see below).

Your order and our contract

When you place an order, you're making us an offer to buy. Our contract with you begins when we email to confirm we've accepted your order — not before. Up to that point we may decline an order.

For custom covers, we design before we make. You'll receive a scaled diagram to approve, and nothing goes to manufacture until you've approved it.

Prices, tax and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars. Applicable sales tax is calculated and shown at checkout based on your delivery address. Where your order ships internationally on a delivered-duty-paid basis, we cover import duties — this is confirmed at checkout.

Payment is processed by our third-party payment providers; we don't see or store your full card details. If a price is obviously wrong, we don't have to honor it — we'll tell you before charging you.

Shipping and delivery

We ship to the address you provide. Rates and estimated lead times are shown at checkout. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees; if your order will be significantly delayed, we'll keep you informed. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery.

Returns and cancellations

Because most Kuvr covers are custom-made to your specifications, they can't be returned for a change of mind. You approve the design before we make it, which is where any changes should happen. We will repair, replace or refund a custom cover if the problem is our responsibility — faulty seams, material or construction defects, transit damage, or a cover made incorrectly against your approved diagram.

Standard-size products may be returned within 30 days if unused and in original condition. Full detail is in our Returns & Refunds policy. Fit is handled separately under our First-Time Fit Guarantee.

Limited Warranty

Every cover comes with a Limited Warranty covering fabric degradation, seam failure and manufacturing defects for a period that depends on the fabric, with an optional KuvrPlus extension. The full terms are in our Warranty Terms & Conditions.

This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Nothing in these terms disclaims or limits any implied warranty where the law does not allow it. Where permitted, the duration of any implied warranty is limited to the duration of the applicable written warranty period.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Except as stated in our Limited Warranty and as required by law, the website and products are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits. Where we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned.

Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Dispute resolution and arbitration

Please read this section carefully — it affects how disputes are resolved and may limit your right to go to court or take part in a class action.

If you have a problem, contact us first through our contact form — most issues are resolved quickly this way. If we can't resolve it informally within 30 days, you and we agree that any dispute will be settled by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that either of us may bring a claim in small-claims court.

Class-action waiver: disputes will be handled on an individual basis only; you and we waive the right to bring or take part in any class or representative action.

Opt-out: you may opt out of this arbitration agreement by notifying us at hello@kuvr.co within 30 days of first accepting these terms.

Intellectual property and website use

The Kuvr name, logo, images and website content are owned by us; please don't reuse them without our written permission. Don't misuse the website — for example by trying to damage it, copy it, or scrape our content, prices or descriptions.

Your privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why, including any rights you have under California and other state privacy laws.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to the arbitration section above.

Changes and general

We may update these terms from time to time; the terms that apply to your order are those published when you order. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still stands. We're not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
