Emma's measurements become scaled diagrams.
Emma came to us as her new rabbit run was being finished — painted, meshed, with electrics and flooring going in — and her own drawings and measurements. We turned them into scaled production diagrams in Ultra 50 clear, then raised the details that decide whether a clear cover sits right: the hem width, and where each fixing would sit.

"I've put together our own scaled diagrams based on your final measurements. I've noticed your latest drawings show a 45mm hem… if we go with 50mm, it does affect the placement of the eyelets and turn buttons slightly, since they sit within the hem area."

Getting every detail exactly right.
This is where a custom cover is actually made — before it's cut. Emma set the hem to 45mm so the edging would sit flush over her battens. She confirmed where she wanted turn buttons and eyelets, and set the finish to her spec: black hardware, white edging.

"I can confirm 45mm edging will be fine please — I don't mind if you have to go a few mm over rather than under as I'm hoping the edging 100% covers my battens flush. And I am happy to go with the placement of eyelets and turn buttons as per your drawings. They look amazing thank you!

"Thanks for confirming 45mm will work, with a little tolerance to go slightly over rather than under so it sits flush over the battens. Regarding the turn button colour: I'll amend this to black and send the diagrams through one final time."
A hem width to the millimetre. Turn buttons and eyelets placed exactly where Emma wanted them. Hardware and edging in the colours she chose. Emma had an annual-shutdown deadline. We checked with production, brought the job forward, and confirmed it would be delivered in time. Her designs were approved and the order went to the factory.
