Outdoor daybeds come in more shapes than any off-the-shelf cover accounts for: rectangle, round, L-shaped, corner sectional. Each is a different footprint, and a stock small, medium or large will never sit flat on it.

Why Do Outdoor Daybed Covers Need to Be Made to Measure?
Most daybed covers sold online come in a handful of stock sizes — 200 × 200, 220 × 240 — or list no dimensions at all, just a vague "fits most." None were measured against your daybed. Too big and it bags and pools water; too small and it strains across the arms and splits at the seams inside a season.
Round daybeds add their own problem. Most sit under a canopy frame — a post or arch above the base — and a cover cut to the base diameter alone lies flat across the top, ignores that frame, and gaps at the sides where the bolsters sit. A round cover has to be cut from your actual diameter and built around your canopy.
L-shaped and corner daybeds are the hardest of all. The angled joint, the different depths between the two arms, and the way the platform meets at the corner mean a generic L-shape never quite lines up — and that corner is exactly where rain collects and wind gets under.
A cover made to those exact figures solves all of it — the pooling, the loose fit, the seam stress, the round-daybed gap.
