Custom Jet Ski Covers

Custom jet ski covers on the trailer

What This Is

A custom jet ski cover is a made-to-measure waterproof cover cut to the exact shape of your ski — hull, seat, handlebars and all. A jet ski takes weather from every side. Sun on the seat. Rain in the footwell. Salt in the engine bay. Weeks on the trailer between rides. The seat and deck show it first.

We build to whatever you own — Sea-Doo, Yamaha WaveRunner, Kawasaki, any make, stand-up or sit-down. Every Kuvr jet ski cover is made to order, and backed by our First Time Fit Guarantee.

This is part of our range of vehicle, jet ski and boat covers. If you keep a center console alongside the ski, we make a custom cover for that too — see our custom center console boat covers. But for the ski itself, on the trailer, at the dock or over winter, this is the cover made for it.

Why Does a Universal Jet Ski Cover Never Fit Right?

A Sea-Doo GTX, a Yamaha VX WaveRunner, and a Kawasaki Ultra are three different shapes. Different lengths, different widths, different handlebar heights. A cover made to an average fits none of them.

Search jet ski covers and every result is the same bag of generic sizes. Cut too big, a cover flaps and pools rain in the slack. Cut too small, it drags over the bars and splits at the seams within a season. Either way, UV reaches the seat first.

That gap is the real cost of a loose cover. UV on the seat. Trapped moisture that never dries. Water into the engine bay, where the repair bills start. Personal watercraft covers are all the same story — PWC or jet ski, a cover only works when it follows the shape of your ski, not the nearest size.

What Does It Protect?

Seat & Upholstery

Constant sun bleaches the vinyl, dries it out and cracks it along the seams. Rain trapped under a loose cover soaks into the foam and stays. A cracked, waterlogged seat is costly to replace — and the first thing a buyer looks at.

UV Damage

Hull gelcoat, graphics and deck plastics chalk and fade fast. Direct sun on a trailer or driveway, reflected off the ground and water, hits every surface. Decals lift, colours go grey, and none of it comes back.

Salt Corrosion

Salt spray and condensation leave a film that keeps drawing moisture from the air. It works into the engine bay, the fittings and the jet pump housing. In coastal storage, that permanent salt layer corrodes whether the ski is ridden or not.

Mould & Mildew

A loose cover traps damp air against the seat and footwell — exactly what mould needs. It stains the seat, mats and storage well, and leaves a smell no cleaning fully lifts. Moisture management matters as much as keeping rain out.

Pest Nesting

A gap at the base of an oversized cover is an open door. Spiders and wasps move into the engine bay, storage well and exhaust; rodents chew wiring over winter. Finding a nest when you lift the seat is a bad way to start a day.

Surface Staining

Bird fouling etches into gelcoat and seat vinyl within hours. Tree sap bonds to the deck and standing water spots the hull. An uncovered ski picks up cosmetic damage that compounds every season — and it shows when you sell.

Which Ski Do You Ride?

These are the three most common brands, not the limit of what we cover. Whatever you ride, we build to your machine.

Sea-Doo Covers

Sea-Doo is the world's best-selling personal watercraft brand, and no two families share a footprint — a GTI, a GTX, an RXT and a Spark are all different lengths and deck heights. Our Sea-Doo covers follow the model you ride: the tall touring seat on a GTX, the compact hull of a Spark, sitting tight over the seat and clearing the mirrors without bagging at the base.

Yamaha WaveRunner Covers

Yamaha WaveRunner has been on the water for decades, with more model families than any other brand. A VX, an FX and an EX differ in length, width and deck height — one size can't cover all three. Our Yamaha WaveRunner covers take handlebar height, seat length and jet ski width off your own machine, whether you call it a WaveRunner or a Yamaha jet ski.

Kawasaki Jet Ski Covers

Kawasaki is the brand that gave the jet ski its name. The Ultra and STX sit-down models and the SX-R stand-up aren't interchangeable — different lengths, widths and deck heights entirely, and the SX-R is a shape no universal cover comes close to. Tell us which you ride, sit-down or stand-up, and we build to it.

What Do Sun, Rain and Trailering Do to an Uncovered Ski?

A ski stored uncovered loses value measurably faster than one kept under a fitted cover. Here's what that looks like in practice:

UV damage to an uncovered jet ski seat — sun bleaching and cracking from prolonged exposure

Seat & Upholstery

UV fading on a jet ski without a cover — paint oxidation and sun damage from outdoor exposure

UV Damage

Salt corrosion on an uncovered jet ski — marine environment damage to hardware and paintwork

Salt Corrosion

Mould and mildew on an uncovered jet ski — damp trapped in the seat foam and footwell

Mould & Mildew

Pest nesting in an uncovered jet ski — insects and rodents in the engine bay and storage well

Pest Nesting

Surface staining on an uncovered jet ski — bird fouling, tree sap and water spotting on the hull and seat

How Is This Jet Ski Cover Different?

  • 01

Cut to Your Exact Make and Model

Length nose to tail. Width at the widest point of the hull. Height from deck to handlebar top. We cut to your exact measurements — not a size category your ski approximately fits.

  • 02

100% Waterproof, With Vents That Let Moisture Out

Two fabric options: NylonSafe® for home and light commercial use, PVCArmour® for high-exposure environments. Both use HydroLok® heat-sealed seaming — each seam stitched and sealed internally, so no water enters through the seam lines. Integrated air vents let trapped moisture escape, so damp air doesn't sit against the seat. UV-stabilised throughout, rated for salt air, dock and trailer.

  • 03

Trailerable — Stays On at Highway Speed

A hem cut to your ski's exact perimeter leaves no loose fabric for wind to catch. An integrated securing system — drawstring hem and straps — locks the cover down. No flapping, no pooling, no bleached seat. It holds on the trailer at highway speed, at the dock in a blow, and through winter as a jet ski winter cover.

  • 04

    Made Once. Protects for Years.

Reinforced at every stress point, a jet ski cover built to your ski doesn't need replacing each season. The construction handles sustained UV, salt spray, trailer miles and years of outdoor storage without degrading — so it outlasts an off-the-shelf cover several times over.

Every cover starts from your measurements and a design we send you to approve before anything is cut. Keep the boat covered too with a custom center console boat cover, made the same way.

When Do You Need a Custom Jet Ski Cover?

Not everyone needs this. Here is how to tell which side you are on.

Focused on Longevity

This cover is right for you if:

Your ski lives outdoors — on a trailer in the driveway, on a lift at the dock, or stored uncovered between rides. It takes sun, rain, and salt when you are not on it.

You have had a universal cover flap loose, pool water, or bleach the seat where it did not sit flat. You want one that actually fits.

You tow the ski and need a cover that stays put at highway speed instead of chafing the hull the whole way there.

Focused on Immediacy

You don't need this if:

Your ski is stored indoors, out of the sun and weather, whenever it is not on the water.

You replace a cheap universal cover every season and are happy with that arrangement.

You need something shipped today and fit does not matter.
